Reflect Planner

Reflect Planner privacy policy.

Last updated:

Reflect Planner stores your plan on your devices and needs no account. A purchase record is handled for us by RevenueCat, and we receive any email you choose to send. Optional iCloud sync and Apple Intelligence use Apple's services. Your plan is never sent to a developer-operated server.

Who is responsible

Reflect Planner is published by Konstrukt Labs S.R.L., Str Apele Repezi Nr. 9 Parter. Camera 1, Ghiroda 307200, Romania. We are the data controller for the personal information described here that reaches us. Questions and requests go to contact@konstruktlabs.com. See our company details.

This policy covers the app. Visits to konstruktlabs.com and support correspondence are also covered by our website and contact privacy policy. The separate Reflect Planner website publishes its own privacy policy.

What stays on your devices

Reflect Planner keeps its database on your device. It contains the plan you create:

  • Goals, outcomes, deadlines, categories and goal photos.
  • Tasks and subtasks, with dates, times and duration estimates.
  • Calendar events, including events linked to tasks or subtasks.
  • Repeat rules and the individual occurrences they create.
  • Completion records, settings and display preferences.

There is no Reflect Planner account, sign-in or profile. We cannot read or receive this database. If you enable iCloud sync, Apple stores it in your own private CloudKit storage as explained below. Deleting the app removes its local database on that device according to the platform's normal behavior; synced data can remain in your iCloud account.

Permissions and connected features

These features work between your devices and Apple's apps or services. Their contents are not sent to us.

  • Apple Reminders: with permission, Reflect Planner reads reminders to display them in Planner. It does not change Apple Reminders.
  • Apple Calendar: with permission, the app displays calendar events. Events you create, edit or delete in Reflect Planner are saved to Apple Calendar only in calendars you allow. Other calendars remain read-only.
  • Goal photos: Apple's photo picker gives the app only the photo you choose, not access to your whole library. The photo is stored with its goal and syncs with your plan if iCloud sync is enabled.
  • Place search: text you enter to find an event location is sent to Apple Maps for suggestions under Apple's privacy policy. Reflect Planner does not request or read your device's location.
  • Apple Watch: your iPhone sends today's plan to its paired watch. Completing a task on the watch sends that change back to your iPhone, and the watch face can show what is next.

You can manage permissions in your device's Settings. Delete Everything in Reflect Planner's Settings removes your plan from the app, your other devices and iCloud, then starts setup again. It does not delete Apple Calendar or Apple Reminders data or cancel a subscription.

What reaches us

We receive a purchase record through RevenueCat and any email you choose to send. The app has no behavioral analytics framework, third-party crash-reporting service or advertising identifier. We do not receive your plan, activity inside the app, location or contacts, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell or rent personal information.

If you choose to share analytics and crash information with developers through Apple's device settings, Apple may make aggregate, non-identifying reports available through App Store Connect, such as install counts and crash traces. These do not contain your plan. You can change that choice in your device's Settings.

App Store purchases

Subscriptions, free trials and the lifetime purchase are processed through the App Store. Apple receives your payment details, billing address and Apple Account information; we do not receive them. Apple also provides aggregate sales and subscription reports that do not identify individual purchasers.

Apple handles subscription management and refund decisions. See Reflect Planner Support for the relevant steps.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat, Inc. provides the app's purchase and subscription status service. It checks purchases with Apple and tells Reflect Planner which access is active. It is the only outside service built into the app. It starts when the app opens, including before you make a purchase, so it can determine your access.

RevenueCat receives:

  • A random identifier created when the app first runs. It does not receive your name, email address or Apple Account details.
  • Purchase history, including products, dates, trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds. Apple also reports renewals, cancellations and refunds directly to RevenueCat.
  • Apple's identifier for our apps on your device, known as the identifier for vendor. It resets if you delete all of our apps from that device.
  • Device model, system and app versions, language, region and App Store country. Internet requests also carry your IP address.

We use this record to provide purchased access, restore it across reinstalls and devices, and understand sales. It is not used for advertising or linked to your identity. RevenueCat keeps the record for as long as we use its service, unless you request deletion sooner.

RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf using Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. Its data-processing terms include the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for this transfer. Read RevenueCat's privacy policy.

You can request access to or deletion of the purchase record by emailing the Order ID from your Apple receipt. It is also available at reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting the record does not cancel your subscription. If you continue using the app, a new record is created the next time it checks your access.

Optional Apple Intelligence

On iOS and iPadOS 27 or later, optional Assistance and suggestion features use Apple Intelligence through Apple's Foundation Models framework. Private Cloud Compute handles the primary request. If it cannot serve the request, the app may use Apple's on-device model.

A request includes what you type and the plan context needed to prepare that draft. Apple processes it through its system or on your device. It is never sent to or stored on a developer-operated AI server. Results are editable proposals; nothing is added to your plan until you choose Create or Save.

Turning off Use Apple Intelligence in Reflect Planner hides Assistance and model-powered suggestions and prevents model requests. Goals, tasks, planning and reflection continue to work. Apple's services are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Optional iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud for Reflect Planner, your plan syncs between devices signed in to your Apple Account through Apple's private CloudKit storage. The data is held in your own iCloud account on Apple's infrastructure, under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We cannot read or list it and hold no key to it. No copy is sent to us.

You can turn iCloud off for Reflect Planner and continue using local storage on that device. Use your device's iCloud storage settings to view its storage use or remove its iCloud data.

Support email

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and attachments. When writing from inside the app, you can choose to include diagnostics: app and system versions, device model, language, region, time zone, settings, permissions and item counts. Diagnostics do not include titles, notes or calendar events. The option starts off each time you open the page, shows everything before you send, and lets you remove any line.

We use correspondence to answer you and investigate your issue. It is not added to a mailing list or used for advertising or profiling. Our mailbox is hosted by GoDaddy. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for the issue and follow-up, and you can request deletion by replying to the thread or emailing us.

Email is not end-to-end encrypted between mail providers. Avoid including sensitive plan contents. Further details about correspondence and this website appear in our website and contact privacy policy.

Legal basis and service providers

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b), to process the purchase record needed to provide paid access. We rely on legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f), to understand sales from that record, answer support email and operate and protect the website through server logs, limited to what each purpose requires.

Apple handles App Store payments and, if enabled, Apple Intelligence and iCloud. RevenueCat handles access and purchase records. GoDaddy hosts our mailbox. This website's hosting is described in the website privacy policy. Third parties receiving personal information from us must provide the same or equal protection as described in this policy. There are no advertising networks, behavioral analytics providers, attribution services or data brokers built into Reflect Planner.

Your data and controls

You can request access, correction, deletion or export of personal data we hold, and object to or restrict its use. Most plan data is accessible only to you:

  • Edit or delete individual plan items in the app. Delete Everything in Settings removes the plan from your devices and iCloud. Deleting the app removes its database from that device only.
  • To access or delete a RevenueCat purchase record, email your Apple receipt's Order ID and state which action you want. Manage cancellation separately through Apple's subscription settings.
  • Manage sync and stored iCloud data through your device's iCloud settings.
  • Ask us to delete correspondence by replying to a support thread or emailing contact@konstruktlabs.com.

We answer privacy requests within one month. You can complain to Romania's data protection authority, ANSPDCP, or the supervisory authority where you live.

Children and policy changes

Reflect Planner is a general-audience planning app and is not directed at children. It has no account, advertising or user-to-user communication. Purchase records work as described above and are not used to identify children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so it can be deleted.

When this policy changes, we publish the revised version with an updated date. A material change to the app's handling of information will also be noted in its release notes.
